I think NIU's departure from the MAC will prove to be the institutional equivalent of Ablin's departure from Athens. They'll regret it in the end, as their new conference is decimated with losses and the anticipated windfall in revenue from the TV contract shrinks and their travel costs skyrocket. What I don’t get is the crying over it’s Miami and not us, I’m not sure we won any tie breakers with Toledo either, so not like one simple rule kept us from playing.
